Zone 4-7
A vigorous, upright growing bush with very good cold tolerance. This Northern Highbush variety has a compact growth habit, growing to a height of 4 to 6 feet, spread 4 to 6 feet. Bell-shaped, creamy white with a slightly greenish tinged flower appears from April to June. The flowers turn into attractive green fruit, followed by large, light blue, firm fruit with a medium scar. Berries with resistance to cracking are produced in medium sized, loose clusters. The berries have a good flavor, are mildly sweet, are aromatic and ripen uniformly. The large, glossy green leaves turn a very stunning burgundy in autumn.
Sturdy bright red canes make a striking winter display. Plant in acidic soil in full sun. Self pollinating. Famous variety for eating fresh, canning, freezing, or as a landscape plant.
