Flowers are single, tiny, light pink five petaled stars which appear in May and last through July. Leaves are lance-shaped on this creeping dwarf plant that grows 4 to 6 inches in height. Spreading mat of flowers should grow 18 to 24 inches in width. Heat and drough tolerant. Prefers well drained soil in a sunny location. Adapts well to slopes, walls and rock gardens. Good for borders. Excellent choice for flower arrangements.
