Also known as Chinese Blue Spruce. Seed originally collected from the mountainous regions of northern-China. An exotic conifer growing to a height of 35 feet; spread 15 feet. Very compact, pyramidal growth habit. Needles are four-sided, soft with a uniform blue-green color. Excellent needle retention. Can be planted in a wide range of soils from acidic ro neutral. Drought and shade tolerant. Good for an ornamental, specimen planting or in a landscape with limited space.
