This red strain is one of the leading red strains planted in Europe. The apple has an attractive red blush over yellow background with red color developing just before harvest. The strain is characterized by having excellent dessert and processing qualities, and does not compromise the flavor of the original Jonagold selection. Trees are very vigorous, productive, and spreading in habit.
