Height and spread 15 to 25 feet. Slow growing ornamental tree. Broadly rounded growth habit. Leaves reddish-purple, excellent color in spring and fall. Color may fade with summer heat. Japanese Red Maple may be used in a variety of landscape settings including as a specimen, accent plant, or bonsai. Also works well in group plantings or borders.
