Zone 4-7

This 6 to 12 foot shrub is much underused beacuse of its scarcity in the native environment. Large yellowish white clusters of flowers bloom in May, while June's bright scarlet berries are so highly prized by many species of birds that the berries are quickly eaten. This vigorous grower has lustrous dark leaves and usually found growing along forest edges adding color to any landscape and food for wildlife.
