Ace is a limb sport of Oregon Spur that begins with an early stripe filling out to a solid red blush. Ace exhibits early color and a very typey fruit with excellent quality. One of the most vigorous spur-type selections of Red Delicious, Ace is recommended for less fertile soils, or sites with potential replant problems.
